The pagan metal band Thorondir are no strangers to the scene, and therefore certainly not to the Mead and Greed Festival. With their latest album, "Wächter des Waldes" (Guardians of the Forest), the band has made a real statement (between us: we think it's fantastic! A definite must-listen!).
So, the perfect time to bring them to Mead and Greed!

The band's musical style blends pagan and black metal. The guitars are aggressive yet melodic, creating a captivating atmosphere with their hard-hitting riffs and penetrating leads. The bass takes center stage, lending the overall sound a vibrant energy. This is driven by a barrage of rapid blast beats and double bass lines, interspersed with rhythmic, calmer accompaniments. The vocals alternate between shrieks and deep growls, and the band also incorporates anthemic clean vocals. Folkloric and harmonic keyboard sounds further enhance the sonic landscape.
