We at Mead and Greed are never averse to a good dose of pirate metal, and that's why we're proud to welcome this band on board for 2026, as this quintet fires off death, black, and folk metal broadsides with a pirate veneer every minute!

Toter Fisch, founded in 2013, sets sail from their home port of Tours, France, to take over the stages of Europe. Its crew creates dark, brutal, yet festive music, delivering their full energy live.

The band's sound is full of symphonic arrangements from various genres (death, black, folk, symphonic...) and the songs are never alike, even though they remain true to the lore of piracy.

After two EPs, a debut album, and nearly 100 shows across France and beyond, Toter Fisch released a second concept album, Aspidochelone, in September 2023.
