Danish metal band Vanir returns with another ambitious album, scheduled for release in March 2026. The working title Historia Belli—Latin for "History of War"—frames the framework for a concept album in which Vanir continues their signature blend of melodic death metal and powerful historical storytelling. The album takes listeners deep into the Danish Middle Ages and Renaissance, illuminating stories of power, betrayal, and honor—as well as the decisions that shaped our shared history and continue to resonate today.
We're already really excited about the new record, but even more so about welcoming Vanir to the Mead & Greed Festival 2026!
